What can I win?

The challenge gives you the chance to win a whole host of prizes for you and your school or college.

Portfolio Challenge

The winners of the Portfolio Challenge get a week long, all expenses paid educational trip to New York for themselves and their teacher. They also win £2000 prize money for their school and £200 for each team member. The trip to New York will include excursions to the financial district as well as some of the famous landmarks.

The second placed team in the Portfolio Challenge wins £1500 for their school and £150 for each team member and the third placed team wins £1000 for their school and £100 for each team member.

Mini Trader

The prize for Mini Trader is £100 for each team member of the winning team.

ifs Young Business Writer of the Year

The winner of the ifs Young Business Writer of the Year will receive a personal cheque for £500.

Monthly challenge: Each month from November until February, the most improved team in the Portfolio Challenge will receive £100 to share (each team can only win this prize once).
Online Trader of the Year: The team with the best performing portfolio over the course of the online phase of Portfolio Challenge will win £150 per team member.
International Online Trader of the Year^*: The international team with the best performing portfolio over the course of the online phase of Portfolio Challenge will win £100 per team member.
Piratical Puzzler: Each month we will host a quiz, if you get all the questions right you.ll be entered into our prize draw to win a fabulous prize!

^* Please note that other than the International Online Trader of the Year all other prizes on offer are only available to UK schools.
