The ifs Student Investor Challenge

The ifs Student Investor Challenge is a set of business competitions for UK students aged 14-19 that could win you a whole host of prizes, including a trip to New York.

Beat the City Fund Managers!
Have you got the skill to invest £100,000 in a winning portfolio that earns you a trip to Wall Street in New York and prize money for your school? If so, Portfolio Challenge is the game for you! Trading runs from 5 November 2007 to 29 February 2008 after which the top teams go head-to-head in the live regional finals.

Portfolio Challenge 2008 is now finished. Congratulations to our winners Teamexcel from Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School who won a hard fought National Final to land the top prize of an expenses paid educational trip to New York for themselves and their teacher. They also win £2000 prize money for their school. Qui Audet Vincit from The College of Richard Collyer came in a close second, with Dividend Dudes from Plymouth College hot on their heels in third place.
